What are DSE assessments?
A DSE Assessment is an assessment of risks involving the use of Display Screen Equipment such as Computers, Tablets and Laptops. These are essential for anybody who uses this equipment as part of their job.
A DSE assessment will include:
- Desk and Chair
- Screens/monitors
- Mouse & Keyboard
- Laptops and Tablets
- Software being used
- Environment - Lighting/heating etc.
A DSE self assessment can be completed by the employee. The results of this should then be reviewed by a trained professional.
1-2-1 assessments can be completed for Users who are experiencing significant pain or for those with more specific support requirements.
